55682Some of my greatest adventures growing up took place in Stuart, FL. Every summer I would go there with my best friend’s family. We would fish, boat, and surf. Of course, as young teenagers we were able to find some trouble but who wants to read about that.

This beautiful city is located towards South Florida along the treasure coast. I cannot think of too many other places, on the east coast, that are as great for a boating trip. A family can easily spend a few days enjoying everything the city has to offer both on and off the water. However, we are focusing on the water.  In the Stuart/ Jensen Beach area there are roughly 6 places for you to dock and stay. Stuart is a place where you can catch awesome fish or cruise through the waterways and see some amazing scenery. For dinning there are 8 locations that allow you to dock and eat. My recommendations are the Manatee Island Bar and GrillSailor’s Return, and Wahoos Riverhouse Restaurant.  As you can see by the number of hotels and restaurants that accommodate boats, Stuart is a boating city. Take my word for it, if you are someone that hasn’t ever been to Stuart, then you are missing out on a great experience. Spring is in the air so stop sitting and start planning to Boat Stuart!
