The Port Hotel and Marina is a lush 7-acre resort located on Florida's Gulf of Mexico in the heart of the "Nature Coast". The area of Crystal River, Florida in Citrus County is renowned for its pristine waters and natural splendor. Much of the surrounding area has been set a side for native wildlife preservation. The endangered Florida manatee make their home here and it is not unusual to catch a glimpse of manatees surfacing right from the patio of one of our waterfront rooms or newly renovated boat dock. You can go on a guided manatee tour by boat or even snorkel and swim with the manatees.
The resort amenities include a large swimming pool, complete dive center with equipment rental and certified dive instruction, boat ramp, boat rentals, kayak rentals, snorkel rental, and manatee tours. For waterfront dining there is the Crystal River Ale House located on premise as well as our famous tiki bar

- COCKROACH infested – Terrible experience and bad c
We DO NOT recommend. This place is old and run do wn. The pictures they have p osted on their sites are of the Ale House next door… so they are deceiv ing the ir customers.
To summarize our stay: We k illed 5 cockroaches our first and on ly one night t here. They were mostly in the bathroom area, craw ling up the sh ower curtain and on the floor. We w ent to the front office to talk to someone but the y had a sign on their door apologizing for the inc onvenience of their a bsence and that we should cal l a phone number. So we called…. No answer. Call ed again. No answer. We had a scuba dive tour th e next day and left at 6am. Still, no one at the front office at that time. So during our lunch br eak, w e headed back to the hotel to see if the off ice had opened up.
