Where the climate and water conditions are favorable for natural bigmouth bass. Striped bass are also plentiful at certain times of the year. Many Bigmouth bass in the six to twelve pound class are caught regularly in our area. Bream and black crappie (Speckled perch) also grow large in the St. John’s river. Bream over one pound and crappie over two pounds are not uncommon. Shrimp in the fall months are found in abundance in the St. John’s river too. We are a short cast by boat from some of the most famous bass fishing waters in the country. Lake George, Hog Island, Drayton Island, Salt Springs Run, Silver Glenn Springs, Rodman Reservoir, Oklawaha River, Dunns Creek, and Crescent Lake. For those who do not have their own boats, we have fully rigged bass boats, and pontoon boats at reasonable for rent.
