Ok we know that this park is in St Mary Ga. But, it just about two miles across the state line and once you get in the water you will be back in Florida in no time.

We found the camp ground to be large enough for a 10 man tent, a canopy , and the 23 foot boat and trailer. The boat ramp was largest enough for most boats with plenty of parking plus a small dock.

Once in the water we traveled to Cumberland Island National Sea Shore. This is a beautiful place  with wild horses and a great place to picnic. The park has two small boat dock that are on a first come first serve basis. Next, we went to Fernandina Beach Public Marina, This is a first class Marina conveniently located in the historic town of Fernandina. After browsing through the shops and getting a cone of ice cream we headed back to the boat and headed back north to the St Marys river. Once there yo can dock at the boat ramp and visit the shops of St Marys river front. Lastly he headed back to the intercostal waterway, past the submarine base and Cumberland Island and anchored in a marsh section of the river. We photographed the wild life and watched 6 dolphins play for a little over an hour.  After a fun filled day we headed back to Crooked River  state park for a game of Miniature gold and a nice supper with a glass of red wine. I would recommend this trip to anyone.
